Athletes’ Voice at the Heart of Governance
In a historic milestone for Egyptian Para sport governance, the EPC Board of Directors led by Dr Hossam El-Din Mostafa inaugurated the official Paralympic Athletes’ Council in 2025, chaired by Paralympic powerlifting champion Hany Abdelhady.
For the first time in the committee’s history, the Athletes’ Council chair attends EPC Board meetings to ensure direct representation of athletes’ needs, welfare and technical proposals on the road to Los Angeles 2028.
