Egypt’s Paralympic athletes embody determination, resilience and national pride. Across more than five decades, our champions have written an extraordinary legacy of 190 Paralympic medals on the world stage.
During the 2024–2028 term, our Board is committed to modernising every pillar of the Paralympic movement—from hosting Africa’s first-ever World Para Powerlifting Championships in Cairo in October 2025 and integrating the Athletes’ Council into board governance, to executing an ambitious roadmap for the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympic Games (LA28).
